Fellow comrades, with a schizophrenic mixture of grief and relief we hereby announce our departure from all Defleshed-activities. Activities that has become more of obligations with the years, which has driven us individually to become more ambitions or less. We are in no way splitting up as unfriends, if anything reversed, and we'll thank you all for your the support through the years in the only way we know how to: a farewell to the flesh gig at Fellini, Uppsala, Sweden the 25th of December (see www.fellini.nu) This night we'll do anything in our power to BLAST YOUR FUCKING FLESH OFF !!! However, since we've never been to the States (which is an old dream of ours), we'll still try to nail that Dismember tour in April, but this is up to our US label & co. Hope you understand our wish not to become tired, blood-drain has-beens but to end this while we're still potent. We will still go on with metal in diverse bands and future projects of course, of which I'm sure you will hear of in a near future, but as for Defleshed we've simply feel the last chapter has been written. After all, you don't stop playing 'cause your getting old - you get old 'cause you stop playing. Be well and thanks for your attention in our band/

Thanks to all who supported us in Gothenburg the other day. Much appreciated yet perhaps unexpected...Må fläsket vara med er ! Up From the Ground festival is unfortunately cancelled as of today. Due to a promotor/ band misunderstanding it is clear we cannot go for the show. We are very sorry to announce this, but hope to catch you up later in October as some european shows are in being planned as we speak. Stay tuned/ Gus & Defleshed

"Fleshheads; the respons towards our new album has been tremendous everywhere (except in Germany that is...!) - thanks a million to all you who supports us !
The videoshoot for "Grind and Rewind" is in it's final step and Betacopies are distributed as we speak for broadcasting etc. so hopefully you'll get a chance to see our ugly behaviour in a TV near you soon!
Matte became a second-time father last night and we hail & salute! This also means we can carry on with the 2000 Decibel Festival as planned, so ignore previous rumours of our abscence.
Another child that is contaminated with the Flesh-virus is Regain Records A'n'R Per Bussmanns goddaughter, here trying out our test shirts for kids 2 - 4 year. We'll probably have those for sale within the next month by the way...
More performances are updated all the time, lasted addition is the city-festival of Gothenburg "Göteborgskalaset" scheduled for the 8th of August.

The new album is out now, finally, and we hope it was worth waiting for. If you have problems purchasing it, just get it through our merchandise-section and it's yours within some days. Thanks to Thiemo, our web-administrator, some cool updates has been made here and there. He's also the guy to contact when you want to be linked as for interviews/ reviews and such...info@defleshed.de it is. Thanks to Lord K we also have a forum (see button) ! Anything you wanna discuss with us or anybody else, just post it here after having registered as a member. Global Domination also holds a bunch other great bands like Vomitory, God Among Insects, In Battle, Entombed, Vicious Art etc. so signing up is time well spent.
